Sunday School 9:30 a.m.
High School Room, Youth Modular
We begin our Sunday morning with everyone in the worship service. After the Children’s Message, students are dismissed to the Youth Modular for a Bible-based lesson. On the first Sunday of the month, there is no Sunday school as we worship and celebrate the Lord’s Supper together in the Sanctuary.
We have a wonderful, loving, trained, and background checked childcare team that you can trust will care for your kids. You can be confident that your kids will be safe, secure and in good hands while you visit YLPC.
We want to plant our kids in the rich soil of God’s word. That means they’ll know their way around the Bible, know how it relates to their lived experience and the difference it can make in the world.
Growing Your Faith
Along the way, they’ll cultivate practices that help them thrive in the Lord. Prayer, scripture study, worship and service will nourish their identity as those who are loved by God and given gifts of the Spirt to serve.
Compelled to Love and Serve
The love they come to know in God will bear fruit as they share that love with others. Being kind at home and school will extend to a heart for service in the community. Kids will join with adults in the church to work with our mission partners like Habitat for Humanity and United to End Homelessness.
Our Faith Traditions
Knowing who we are in Christ includes knowing our place in the neighborhood. Our kids will learn what’s particular about the Presbyterian denomination and come to understand other Christians as well as our neighbors who practice other faiths.
